    1911 E94 Close Candy Baseball Partial Set (19/30). John Esch collection. Offered is a 19-card partial set of highly coveted E94 series from 1911 produced by the George Close Candy Co. This series is very challenging to take to completion and keeps master sets builders busy as every card is available in six different color backgrounds plus Orange which are extremely rare but there are two found elsewhere in this auction! A lucky thirteen cards have been graded by PSA. Includes: Graded - PSA VG-EX 4: 2 cards, Byrne/Red and Grant/Violet; PSA VG+ 3.5: 1 card, Devore/Red; PSA VG 3: 2 cards, Devlin/Red and Kleinow/Olive; PSA Good+ 2.5: 2 cards, Jennings/Red and Lord/Gold; PSA Good 2: 4 cards, Doolan/Gold, Dougherty/Blue, Leach/Olive and Lobert/Gold; PSA Fair 1.5: 2 cards, Evers/Olive and Magee/Olive. Ungraded - Austin/Violet, Bescher/Red, Chance/Gold (Auth.), Davis/Red (Auth.), Leach/Red, Murray/Violet. Grades 28% VG to VG/EX, 33% GD, 39% PR to FR with a few authentic.
