    1884 Lawson's Baseball Game Playing Cards PSA Graded Near Set (32/37), Booklet and Extras. A set just over 125 years old survives this nice purely by mistake. This card game was called "Base Ball with Cards" and was a giveaway with the Boston Herald. The condition speaks for itself, every card is NM or better and thirty cards are Mint or Gem MT. The rare instruction booklet is missing but probably equally as rare and is included is an original 2-color box which presents very well with some creasing. Missing 3 Strikes Out, Baseman 2, Catcher, Fly Ball, Foul Muff. Includes: PSA Gem MT 10: 2 cards, Wild Throws(2); PSA Mint 9: 6 cards, 3 Strikes Missed, Baseman 1, Forced Out, Striker(3); PSA NM-MT 8: 12 cards, 3 Strikes, Base Hit 1, Base Hit 3, Baseman 3, Fly Muff, Striker(3), Umpire, Wild Throws(3); PSA NM 7: 11 cards, 3 Strikes, 7 Balls, Base Hit 2, Fly Catch, Foul Ball, Foul Catch(2), Grounder, Home Run, Pick Up, Striker; PSA VG-EX 4: 2 cards, Striker(2). Ungraded - Value of Cards (2: Both NM) and Instruction Booklet (EX). Grades 23% Mint to Gem MT, 71% NM to NM/MT, 6% lesser.
