1906 W601 Philadelphia Athletics Sporting Life Team Composite Pin from The Rube Waddell Collection. Celluloid pinback from the earliest years of the American League features photographic portraiture by renowned photographer Carl Horner identical to that which was used for the team postcards issued the same year. Notable subjects include Connie Mack, Eddie Plank, Rube Waddell and Chief Bender. Some scattered toning will be apparent in our lot photography, but celluloid is not chipped or cracked as most pins of this format are. Diameter is 2". Brooch back.Auction Info
