Description
Signed 1948 Bowman Ellis Vance #20 PSA Authentic, PSA/DNA Authentic Auto - Only Two Signed, PSA Graded Examples. Gene "Ellis" Vance was a 6' 3" guard/forward who competed initially in the Basketball Association of America (BAA) for the Chicago Stags (1947 to '49) before joining the Tri-Cities Blackhawks and ultimately the Milwaukee Hawks of the NBA. Over five seasons and 175 games, Vance averaged 8.3 points and three rebounds per contest. Offered is Vance's 1948 Bowman rookie card, which shows him sporting the Stags uniform while he dribbles up court. The Authentic card is further enhanced by Vance's signature across the front. He signed it in blue ink right across his chest. Encapsulated PSA Authentic with a certified PSA/DNA Authentic Auto. This is one of only two signed examples on the PSA pop report.Auction Info
