Description

1974 Topps Ron Santo #270 Mini Hoard (209). Ron Santo was one of the most beloved figures in Chicago Cubs franchise history. Fans and teammates alike vociferously advocated for his Cooperstown induction but the call would not come until two years after his passing in 2010. Santo made it clear that it was the affection of Wrigley residents he valued the most, telling an emotional crowd at his 2003 jersey retirement ceremony, "This is my Hall of Fame!" Pulled from vending we offer a mini-hoard of 209 examples of his 1974 Topps card #270. The get started, we graded 11 cards, Includes: PSA Mint 9 (9 cards) and PSA NM-MT 8 (2 cards). Grades 47% NM to NM/MT with some Mint, 53% EX to EX/MT (almost exclusively due to centering, a few have small spot stains). All cards are glossy with that "pack fresh" appeal.
