1967 TOPPS DISCS CARL YASTRZEMSKI #24. A "Yaz" Topps disc from the same year as Carl Yastrzemski's rare accomplishment in winning an American League "Triple Crown" title for homers, batting percentage and RBI leadership for that same season. This disc is 2 3/8" x 2 3/8" and appears in near mint shape. Similar to the more common 28-piece set of 1968, this set of all-stars is known only in proof form, evidently intended to be pressed onto a pin-back button issue which never materialized. Well regarded as a great all-around player on offense and defense, Yaz was the backbone of the Boston Red Sox team for more than two decades.
