Minnie Miñoso, affectionately known as "The Cuban Comet," was a trailblazing star who became Major League Baseball's first Black Latino player. Debuting with the Cleveland Indians before becoming a beloved figure with the Chicago White Sox, Miñoso was known for his speed, ability to get on base, and consistent hitting, making him one of the most exciting players of the 1950s.
