1949 Sealtest Ice Cream Eddie Waitkus & Richie Ashburn RC SGC-Graded Pair (2). One of the rarest regional issues of any era is the 1949 Sealtest Ice Cream sticker series from 1949 showcasing the hometown Philadelphia Phillies. Offered is a pair of these rarities featuring Eddie Waitkus (SGC 50 VG/EX 4) and the rookie card appearance of Phillies/Cubs HoFer Richie Ashburn (SGC 50 VG/EX 4). Both are solid mid-grade examples. Adhesive bleed through along the diecut line and some surface roughness along a segment accounts for the SGC assessment.Auction Info
