Description
1948 Topps "Hocus Focus" Magic Photo Albums With Cards (80) - Ruth, Cobb, Wagner, Gehrig. The first major card production by Topps was a series of 252 little magic photos which appeared blank and were to be developed by the buyer. The subjects included baseball, football, boxing, basketball, movie stars, famous people and places. Topps also produced a pair of albums to store the .75" x 1" min-photos. Offered is a album designed to hold series A through G. A total of 80 cards are included inside of the album. Key sports cards include: Connie Mack, Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Walter Johnson, Hans Wagner, Rogers Hornsby, Cy Young. Grades overall GD to VG/EX with some lesser. Most of the cards are inserted neatly into the slits of each black page.Auction Info
