1948 Bowman baseball card uncut sheets (2). The 1948 Bowman issue represents one of the first major issues of the post-war period. The complete set consisted of 48 cards and these two sheets get you three quarters of the way there. Each sheet includes 18 cards. Sheet #1 includes Musial, Thomson, Rigney, and Gordon. Sheet has three creases and some light residue at a few edges on the back. Sheet #2 includes Spahn, Slaughter, Schoendienst, Berra, Feller, Kiner, and Reynolds and has two creases with a small chip at the bottom border. Both examples are VG and have the backs properly printed unlike many of the double printed Bowman sheets available in the Hobby.
