    Description

1947-66 Exhibit Supply Co. Cards & Vending Machine. The Exhibit Supply Co. was one of the largest producers of sports and non-sports cards during the 20th century. Their first baseball series appeared in 1921 and their final massive push was a set that first appeared in 1947 with final subjects coming in 1966. Offered is a collection of over 100 uncirculated cards that were found inside this massive metal/wood vending machine that measures 36 ¾" high (not counting decorative adornment), 10" deep and tapers from 14-3/4" at the top to 17-3/4" at the base. Front windows advertise two popular themes - baseball players and cowboys of the silver screen but are not original. Cards include players like Ashburn, Mantle, Mays, Reese, Jackie Robinson and team cards featuring the Dodgers and Yankees in EX to NM-MT with a few lesser. Some are PSA graded. The machine comes complete with non-original electrical wiring that makes the top portion light up and the key for the front doors. The coin mechanism is functional and cards will dispense as intended but that feature sticks a little. It is fully functional and appears to be in excellent condition with wear to outer wood surfaces. See our web site for a more detailed account of the card collection.
