    1934 R309-1 Goudey Premium American & National League All-Stars Pair (2). The R309-1 edition consists of four premiums that Goudey offered in 1934. The offered pair showcase the members of the both the American League and National League All-Star squads from the inaugural All-Star Game in 1933. The 5-1/2"x 9" premiums are printed on a heavy cardstock and sports a simulated gold frame border. Players names are found on the reverse where you'll find legends like Foxx, Lazzeri, Gehringer, Gehrig, Ruth, Mack, Grove, Dickey and Simmons for the AL and Terry, McKechnie, McGraw, Carey, Klein, Hartnett, Frisch, Waner, Traynor and of course the man who made the game - Carl Hubbell. Both have a reverse easel (one not original) on the back allowing for display. Overall condition is VG due to light creasing. Both front images remains bright and only marginally affected by the creasing.
