1922 W503 Baseball Collection (5). Still unknown is exactly who produced and how this scarce set of 64-cards were circulated. The cards are hand-cut strongly suggesting circulation in strips and there is some speculation they may have been issued as a bonus with the purchase of candy or gum. Each W503 card displays the players name, team and a card number. The portraits are all high quality making this scarce edition very popular. Includes: #'s 12 Nehf (SGC 45 VG+ 3.5), 21 Frisch (FR), 25 Bancroft (SGC 55 VG/EX+ 4.5), 57 Daubert (FR) and 61 Sewell (SGC 40 VG 3).
