    1880's - 1920's Tobacco Packs, Pouches & Tins Collection (8). Offered for consideration is a lot of eight desirable pieces of sports-related tobacco packaging. This grouping is highlighted by a very scarce Creole Straight Cut cigarettes box, condition VG/EX, that was manufactured by the S.F. Hess & Co., creator of several series of rare baseball cards, including N338-1 and N338-2. This empty box dates to the same era, c. 1889. Also included are three full, sealed packages of brands that issued cigarette cards, Helmar, Turkish Trophies, and Murad, which date to 1910-1915. This lot includes: Creole Straight Cuts (VG/EX, c. 1889); Helmar (EX/MT, full pack, c. 1915); Turkish Trophies (EX, full pack, c. 1910); Mecca (VG, 5 cigarettes, c. 1910); Pep Cigarette Tobacco (VG/EX, c. 1925); 4 Bagger (VG/EX c. 1925); Allen and Ginter Richmond Mixture Tin (EX, c. 1890); Murad (EX, full pack, c. 1915).
