Extremely Rare 1911 T205 Drum Mordecai Brown SGC 50 VG/EX 4 - Highest Grade Known! Mordecai Brown was the pitching mainstay of the famed Cubs teams that won four pennants and two World Championships between 1906 to 1910. His T205 Gold Border tobacco card from 1911 is one of his finest looking collectibles. Offered is a very special example which displays the very rarely encountered "Drum Cigarettes" advertising reverse.

Graded SGC 50 VG/EX 4 for some corner wear. There are no creases or wrinkles to detract from a great portrait that features bold colors and is close to being perfectly centered. Currently, a grand total of only nineteen T205 Drum backs have been recorded by SGC. Brown is the only HoFer! This is by far the highest graded example of Mordecai from a total pop of only four.
