19th Century Album With Hundreds of Tobacco & Trade Cards - With N172 and N28 Baseball. If you love cards, really love cards... this is going to be for you! This may appear to be an old scrapbook but truth be told it is a completely fascinating trip back in time! The album measures in at a robust 13-1/2 x 16-1/2" and yields a tremendous array of 19th century tobacco inserts cards, album and poster cut outs plus a selection of wondrous trade cards. There are hundreds of them, from numerous brands, some common, some scarce. The majority are sepia actress cards but the N28 Allen & Ginter World's Champions (21 cards, including nine of the ten baseball players), N172 Old Judge Baseball (3 cards), N29 Women Cyclists (10 cards), Kimball Dancing Women (11 cards) plus many other editions are also represented. Some cards have been removed, actually the paper is quite brittle and falls apart with even gentle handling, and do have back issues but thankfully most of the removed cards have paper/glue stuck to the backs and not damage from surface loss which describes only 10-12%. Too much to mention here, please see our web site for a detailed description of the contents of this collection.

    More Information:
