    1971 Topps Nolan Ryan #513 PSA Mint 9 - None Higher. Ryan's on the mound exploits are the stuff of legend to young baseball fans and nightmares for those who opposed him. He holds the second most untouchable pitching record in baseball after Cy Young's 511 victories. His 5,714 strikeout total is situated by the hundreds beyond his closest rival in career Ks. This eternal reign was assured by over a quarter century of blazing fastballs, rather definitively establishing Ryan as the greatest power pitcher in the game's history. Offered is a wonderful example of Nolan's card from the 1971 Topps series when he was still with the New York Mets. The four borders of this 1971 beauty are so deep and black even NASA would be impressed. There are no visible touches and seems to have never been touched by human hands. Centering is nearly perfect and is the lone element that determined the final PSA assessment. An example worthy of being placed among the best 1971 Topps Nolan Ryan cards on the planet. Graded PSA Mint 9, one of only thirty-one example at the Mint level with none graded higher.
