    Description

1963 Topps Pete Rose - 1963 Rookie Stars #537 PSA NM-MT 8. Pete Rose would apply his craft for the hometown Reds in 20 of his 24 Major League seasons. He didn't just make baseball history in Cincinnati he was born there on April 14, 1941. Forty-five years and four months later he belted out the last of his 4,256 career hits, surpassing the previous mark of 4,189 set by the great Ty Cobb. Card #537 from the 1963 Topps series features four of baseball's newest hopefuls but none compare in significance to the fresh-faced 22-year old second baseman in the lower left. A solid card with many positive attributes. Graded PSA NM-MT 8.
