1960 Topps Willie McCovey #316 PSA Mint 9 - None Higher. Willie McCovey is a time-honored member of the prestigious 500 Home Run Club but he will also be remembered as one of the games true gentlemen. The 1959 Rookie of The Year would appear in six All-Star Games averaged thirty-three home runs and almost 100 RBIs per season over the length of a 23-year career. For the McCovey fan, he has the distinction of having not one but two cards serving as his rookie debut in the 1960 Topps series. The second card recognizes his appearing in his first All Star game. Graded PSA Mint 9. One of twenty-nine at this level with none graded higher. Well over a half-century later and this card is still every characteristic one searches for in their quest to add one of the finest examples of a card to their holdings. The surrounding bright white border stands I remarkable compliment to the central graphics.
