1959 Topps Hank Aaron #380 PSA NM 7. Few baseball players are as universally admired as was (and still is) Hank Aaron. Retiring as the all-time Major League leader in home runs with 755 and no asterisks will do that for a man. He has since been surpassed, but many baseball purists still consider Hammerin' Hank as the true all-time homer champion because his name has never been linked with performance-enhancing substances. Aaron was playing with the Negro American League Indianapolis Clowns when he was signed to a minor league contract by the Boston Braves. He made the then Milwaukee Braves in 1954, and stayed in the majors for 23-years, playing with the Atlanta Braves and the Milwaukee Brewers. When he was in his teens, Aaron batted cross-handed and some analysts believe that his home run power was generated by the strong wrists he developed while using a cross-handed grip. Hall of Famer Hank had four National League home run crowns, two batting titles, an MVP, 25 All-Star selections, and three Gold Gloves as a smooth right fielder with a great arm.
Offered is a 1959 Topps Hank Aaron #380 graded PSA NM 7.
