    Description

1956 Topps Roberto Clemente (White Back) #33 PSA Mint 9. Roberto Clemente lived as a hero to Pittsburgh fans and died a hero to the people of Nicaragua and humanity. His body forever lost at sea following the crash of his overloaded earthquake relief plane in the coastal waters of his native Puerto Rico. Already guaranteed baseball immortality through his eighteen brilliant seasons of Major League service and his newly-minted key to the 3,000 Hits Clubhouse, Roberto Clemente achieved the closest thing to baseball sainthood that tragic last day of 1972.

From the earliest years of his career we offer one of the finest examples of his second Topps card from 1956. It is hard to believe this "White Stock" variant earns sexagenarian status as it appears as magnificent today as it must have so many summers ago. Colors, gloss, surfaces, corners, even centering flirts with perfection. Graded PSA Mint 9. We can't imagine anyone contradicting that assessment. The PSA census shows nineteen submissions have earned a "Mint" label with none graded higher.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
