    1954 Topps Hank Aaron #128 SGC 88 NM/MT 8. The recently surpassed but still considered the reigning Home Run King failed to earn All-Star Game nods in only this his first year of play and his last year some twenty-three season later. Properly regarded as one of the most important trading cards of the post-war era, the 1954 Topps Aaron rookie is counted among the hobby's most recognizable pieces. This gum card heralded the arrival of a force of nature, a phenomenon of a magnitude unseen since a man named Babe ruled the game. This card exhibits all of the attributes a card graded NM-MT should have - great color, shiny gloss, close to perfect centering, accurate print registration plus an almost complete lack of any edge, surface and corner tip wear.
