    Description

1952 Topps Orestes Minoso #195 PSA Mint 9. The Cuban-born superstar got his Big League start only 23-years old with the '49 Cleveland Indians and retired in 1964 playing for the Chicago White Sox. Or did he? After several years of Mexican ball, Minoso returned to Chicago's south side to play three games, picking up one single in eight at-bats to become at fifty years of age the second-oldest player (after Hall of Famer Jim O'Rourke at 54) to hit safely in the Majors. His bat finally fell silent with his final hit in 1976. He would return for a single 1980 appearance to become the only man to play Major League ball in five different decades. Barely any sign that the card was ever handled by human hands. Graded PSA Mint 9, this card represents one of eight cards for the grade! There are none rated higher!
