    Description

1952 Topps Mickey Mantle #311 SGC 60 EX 5. Regardless of your favorite era to collect, this card continues to fascinate making it the most highly sought after post-war card. It is the "T206 Wagner" of the modern era. The All-American baseball superstar was just twenty years old at the time of issue and soon to become a national icon. This particular card has been consigned to us from the same man who pulled this card from a pack back in 1952. Deciding to sell his collection some years ago, there was one card he just couldn't part with - his '52 Mantle. Deciding now was the time, the card has been graded SGC 60 EX 5. Centering is close to precise, colors are lush and just hints of wear appear at corners, no creases, no wrinkles. A nice middle grade example looking for only its second home ever.
