    Description

1952 Topps Jackie Robinson #312 PSA NM 7.5. Jackie Robinson forever changed the character of our National Pastime for the better. That is overly simplistic but an accurate statement. In the racially diverse borough of Brooklyn, Jackie Robinson would be for thousands the first black man that they considered "one of us." They cheered for him. They loved him. Some of the boys in the stands at Ebbets would march as men in Selma because their hearts and minds had been opened during warm summer afternoons in Flatbush. In short, Jackie Robinson is arguably the most significant figures in the history of American sports.

Presented is a fitting tribute to his enduring contribution, the first card of Jackie Robinson to bear the Topps brand. Graded PSA NM+ 7.5, from over 825 submissions, this is one of three graded at the NM+ plateau. Colors are vivid and rich. Gloss is fresh and vibrant. Corners all come to ninety degree tips with only mild touches. A visually impressive card and one worthy of the finest 1950's collection.
