    Description

1952 Topps Baseball Complete Set (407). The undisputed king of the post-war era, it is conceivable that this first major effort by Topps is still their finest. Joining the T206 and 1933 Goudey sets, they combine to form the hobby's "Big Three." Far from just a coming out party for the industry's most recognizable baseball card purveyor, the 1952 issue holds the most coveted card in the game, Mickey Mantle, as well as cards featuring fellow period legends Mays, Mathews, Snider, Campanella and Robinson. A total of 45 cards have been third party graded.
