    Description

1952 Red Man Ted Williams #23A SGC 88 NM/MT 8 - None Higher. Without question, the most valuable and significant card from the 1952 Red Man Tobacco set features Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer Ted Williams. It's a shame that this is the first and last Red Man product to depict Williams. Without a Topps or Bowman card from 1952, we are grateful Red man had the foresight to add the Splendid Splinter into their promotion. Virtually no chipping is present on the condition-sensitive edges and corners. Hues are deep and rich and the gloss only brings out the portrait on what is an important entry in any early 1950's collection. Plus the all-important bottom coupon is still attached. Graded SGC 88 NM/MT 8. This is one of four cards to earn the 88 NM/MT 8 grade from SGC. There are none rated any higher! In any condition, this is a must-have card for Ted Williams fans.
