1947-1966 Exhibit baseball Near Master Set (336/341). Near set of 333 cards plus three variations. Missing Doby/Bat on Border, Doerr/No "Exhibit Card", Mantle/Separated "c k," Mueller and Braves/1948 for completion. With over 300 subjects, a seemingly endless number of print/text variations and dozens of scarce subjects and variations, the cornerstone of the Exhibit Baseball library is a hobbyists dream come true. The massive undertaking went almost 20 years before full color cards and vending card machines became obsolete. Regardless, the set has remained a hobby favorite. A blank back is standard for these one-color, postcard size cards but 33 names display the scarce and desirable post card format reverse. In total, 23 cards have been graded by SGC. Highlights include: Graded - SGC 80 EX/NM 6: 4 cards, Cunningham/Portrait, Killebrew/Portrait, Mantle/Portrait and Richardson; SGC 70 EX+ 5.5: 11 cards, Larry "Yogi" Berra, Cunningham/Batting, Ford/Pitching, Killebrew/With Bat, Koufax, Mantle/"ck" Connected, Mays/Portrait, Musial/Batting, Powell, Bill "Moose" Skowron and Ward; SGC 60 EX 5: 7 cards, Brandt, Ford/Portrait, Mantle/Batting/Full Length, Musial/Kneeling (PC), Paige, F.
