    Description

1934 Goudey Lou Gehrig #61 SGC 45 VG+ 3.5. One of the two Gehrig entries from the 1934 Goudey issue which also bears his namesake. Both Gehrig cards are considered among the most highly sought after cards in the hobby. This solid example comes from a new to the hobby collection and is being offered for the first time. The card delivers a streak of positive attributes including deep colors, precision print registration, a lack of wrinkling or creases and just some modest corner wear. On the brink of his Triple Crown season, this version depicts Lou from the waist up wielding the lumber that would help him attain that goal. Graded SGC 45 VG+ 3.5.
