    Description

1934-36 Diamond Stars Rogers Hornsby #44 SGC 96 Mint 9 - Pop Two, None Higher. An amazing force at the plate, Rogers Hornsby holds the record for highest batting average in a season with the whopping .424 that he hit in 1924. That year was no fluke, either, as Hornsby also won two Triple Crowns of batting and two NL MVP Awards. This is an amazing example. Surfaces are problem free and all four corners are sharp. Graded SGC 96 Mint 9, one of two at this graded with none graded higher.
