1933 Goudey Sport Kings Babe Ruth #2 PSA VG-EX 4. The 1933 "Sport Kings" series paid homage to the greatest athletes of the 20th Century - both men and women - from the world of sport and gave them a roughly 2-1/2 x 3" spotlight for their accomplishments. Representing baseball was a trio of heroes including Carl Hubbell, Ty Cobb and the man who gave a generation of depression-era youngsters a reason to be a kid in the greatest "Bambino" himself - Babe Ruth. The card we present is a nice "EX/MT" card that has a pair of linear staining which includes a few small spots of surface loss and edge abrasion into the top border. One line is from shoulder to red banner and one from the top of his hair going off the top edge. Graded PSA VG-EX 4. A pleasing mid-level example of a very popular Ruth card.
