    Description

1933 Goudey Benny Bengough #1 PSA NM 7. From the highly coveted classic series issued by Goudey in 1933 we present this beautiful #1 card featuring the Browns' backstop Benny Bengough. Although Benny will never see his portrait on the wall of the Hall of Fame if the hobby had a card HoF this card would be a member. This is quite possibly the most famous "common" in the hobby. All first cards are tougher to find in high grade. For whatever reason this high end example has managed to survive with no damage to the card's surfaces plus retain all four quality corners. Even centering is close to precise and its size is slightly larger (height and width) than the anticipated 2-3/8" x 2-7/8" dimension. A top of the line jumbo copy of the hobby's most condition sensitive card.
