    Description

1922 V89 William Paterson Ty Cobb #46 SGC 30 Good 2. The Internet literally brought the hobby around the world, connecting collectors in the next state, next country or the next continent. It also help make available cards that were once very hard to find outside of a local region. Some cards have shown to be readily available, but this did not happen with the V89 William Paterson Candy cards from 1922. They are still scarcely encountered outside of Canada and not very plentiful inside Canada either.

Offered is one of the finer examples on record of card #46 featuring baseball legend Ty Cobb. Wanted by the most advanced Cobb collectors, this particular card has a pair of clean surfaces, four corners showing only modest amounts of wear and is nicely centered. Creasing explains for the SGC 30 Good 2 assessment. This is one of a total of only four cards graded by SGC!
