    Description

1920 Babe Ruth "Headin' Home" Follow Through Bat to Left SGC Authentic. This fantastically rare series was a promotional give-away announcing the arrival of Yankees star Babe Ruth in "Headin' Home." As such, these cards will have a strong appeal for both card collectors and movie memorabilia collectors alike. The set is catalogued separately as a Tex Rickard production but are also found with blank backs and ads for other theatres or entertainment events. Offered is a rare Blank Back example of the "Follow Through Bat to Left" card. With all of these cards, an image of a youthful Bambino dominates the front, usually found with details of an event printed on verso. Encapsulated SGC Authentic due to an irregular top border. The image quality is excellent and is free of any creases or wrinkles.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
