    Description

1915 T214 Victory Tobacco Hooks Wiltse SGC 50 VG/EX 4 - The Only SGC & PSA Example! When the two major grading services have reviewed only one example of any given card, you may safely assume the card is extremely rare. None of the mid-1910's era tobacco issues can be called common, but none command more attention and are more rare than the "Victory Tobacco" cards from 1915. This SGC 50 VG/EX 4 featuring Jersey City pitcher is not only the one and only example graded by either PSA or SGC, it is the highest graded T214 on the SGC census report! Advertised as a 90 designs promotion, the current checklist stands at just over 60 names. They are among the rarest of all 20th Century tobacco card issues next to the mythical "Pirates Tobacco" cards. For the type collector, this is a series missing from all but a few treasured holdings.
