    Description

1914 Cracker Jack Ty Cobb #30 PSA VG 3. Although there was nothing that the word "sweet" would accurately describe the Georgia Peach, he does rank as the first or second most desirable entry from the hobby's most popular candy issue, appeared during a season that saw Cobb steal 96 bases, manage 208 hits and bat .369! Cards circulated inside boxes of Cracker Jacks alone making staining inevitable. This cards only modest stains as seen on the reverse. Creasing is limited to the one in the upper right corner. The bold coloring and artful portraiture that characterize the set are evident and tailor-made to honor baseball's finest. Corners show a rounding at corners and his portrait is close to precisely centered. A very appealing example of one of Cobb's best cards. Graded PSA VG 3.
