1911 T205 Gold Border Home Run Baker PSA NM-MT 8 - Pop Two, None Higher. Old school baseball is filled with colorful nicknames but a select few stand head and shoulders above the rest. On the written page, names can act as powerful insights of players long beyond this era. Some however, are far more identifiable than the one given by parents. Frank Baker is the prototypical example of this, as most fans to this day know of him simply as "Home Run" Baker. Even "Babe" Ruth, the favorite home run hero of the 20th century was branded with a nickname based on his youthfulness. The honor of being named after the long ball itself was bestowed on another. Offered here is a stunning example of Baker's entry in the T205 Gold Border series.

Graded PSA NM-MT 8. The PSA population report shows that only two are confirmed at the NM-MT level with none higher. The reverse displays a "Honest Long Cut" ad. Extremely clean and wonderfully preserved. The central graphics are centered a sliver away from perfection. Two corners are "minty." After more than a century, the chances of a card appearing that grades Mint is between slim and none.
