1911-14 D304 Brunners Bread Johnny Evers (Chicago) PSA EX+ 5.5 - Pop Two, Two Higher. General Baking was a household name to moms and dads in the bread aisle of Buffalo, New York grocery stores. For kids, General Baking meant baseball cards! From 1911 to 1914 cards, now designated D304, circulated locally with one of five different General Baking products being advertised on card backs. Today, the overall population of these fragile cards is painfully small compared to demand. Offered is HoFer Johnny Evers with a "Brunners Bread" reverse and the Chicago team caption. This is the more "common" version but that word seems inappropriate. Graded PSA EX+ 5.5. One of only two graded EX+ with two higher from a total pop of only eighteen.
