1910 E103 Williams Caramel Christy Mathewson PSA VG+ 3.5. The Elegant portraiture of photographer Carl Horner is featured in numerous card releases of this era. His work is utilized for the entire E103 series produced by Williams Caramel, the portraits now distinctly framed with a distinct red background. Offered is an attractive and scarce E103 of New York Giants HoFer Christy Mathewson, now graded PSA VG+ 3.5. The card displays some consistent corner wear, no surface wear and no creasing which is a nice treat for a set made with very thin card stock. From a total pop of only 16, this is the only card on record in VG+, four have graded higher. This is one of Mathewson's more scarce "E" entries.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
