    Description

1910 E102 "Set of 25" Ty Cobb SGC 60 EX 5. The intended producer of this set remains unknown a century later and it is possible no specific entity was ever intended. The mystery of the "E102" mystery has done nothing to diminish its popularity among candy card collectors and is simply referred to as "Set of 25." Here we present the key card from the issue -Ty Cobb of course. Consistent rounding of the corners actually complements the perfect centering but it is the classic image of Cobb, leaning on the lumber that made him a legend that has remained close to unimprovable. Nice solid card with only modest corner wear and a pair of stray ink spots to note. Graded SGC 60 EX 5. One of only three at this grade level with three rated higher.
