    Description

1910-11 T3 Turkey Red Wee Willie Keeler, Checklist Back #101 PSA EX+ 5.5. Profound words do inspire but at times simplicity works just as well. When asked for his philosophy on hitting, "Wee Willie" Keeler once said, "Hit 'em where they ain't." And who would argue with one of the game's early great batsmen. The 5'4" and 140 lb. dynamo registered batting averages of .424 in 1897 and .385 in 1898 and it took eighty years (1978) for another great hitter to tie Keeler's 1897 NL mark of going 44 consecutive games with a hit. Checklist #'s 51-126 with mail-in offer reverse. Graded PSA EX+ 5.5. One of only two for the grade, there is just one rated higher.
