    Description

1910-11 M116 Sporting Life Home Run Baker (Black Back) SGC Authentic. The king of swing during the Deadball Era, Frank Baker was aptly nicknamed "Home Run" by his contemporaries. After four Home Run titles, three World Series and four American League Championships, "Home Run" Baker would sit out the entire 1915 season in a contract dispute with Connie Mack, effectively ending his Hall of Fame service to the Philadelphia Athletics. The Yankees picked up the star and he would retire in Yankees pinstripes. Offered is an attractive example that features brilliant colors. Graded SGC Authentic.
