    Description

1909 E95 Philadelphia Caramel Honus Wagner SGC 50 VG-EX 4. Just twenty-five cards comprise this popular candy set, but the issue is "packed to the rafters" with the top names of the Dead Ball era. Fans of Cobb, Crawford, Mathewson, Evers, Plank and Eddie Collins all appear along side the great "Flying Dutchmen" Honus Wagner. Here we present the card listed first on the checklist back, an honor properly bestowed upon the veteran Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop. With a design reminiscent of the T206 set, and the same year of issue, this could be considered a very attractive alternative to the six-figure price tag for that "other" Wagner card. Graded SGC 50 VG-EX 4. There is some totally acceptable corner tip wear and a light corner cease in the lower right. A very clean and bright card that makes for a strong representative for this grade.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
