    Description

1909-11 T206 Sweet Caporal Walter Johnson, Portrait PSA EX-MT 6. The timeless, elegant portrait of the "Big-Train" is one of the most widely recognized and admired of all the T206s portraits and is unmistakably a product of Carl Horner's talents. Every tobacco enthusiast desires this card and for good reason. Few will be able to claim one of such quality. The front boasts four quality corners, rich colors, a bight white border of slightly uneven thickness, this being the "worst" criticism one can find. The reverse displays a "Sweet Caporal-150 Subjects" design. Graded PSA EX-MT 6, one of the finer examples graded to date. Currently, there are over 775 Walter Johnson T206 portraits which have passed the eyes of PSA graders with only 3% surpassing the Excellent-Mint level.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
