    Description

1909-11 T206 Sweet Caporal 350/30 Ty Cobb (Portrait-Green) PSA EX 5. The portrait of Ty Cobb used for the T206 series has gone from beyond classic to "icon" statues. There will be fans who will favor red or green but regardless of the color surrounding, few cards hold this level of status in the hobby. The "Green Background" version is more scarce which to some only makes it that much more desirable. Our offered example displays a "Sweet Caporal - 350 Subjects" ad with factory 30 caption. Attractive example with no staining and modest corner wear that combined with centering accounts for the PSA assessment. Graded PSA EX 5. Overall total PSA pop is over 800 submissions. Currently, only twenty-nine are confirmed with a "Sweet Caporal - 350 Subjects" brand back and factory 30 caption. Pop three with four higher for this brand/series/factory combination.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
