1909-11 T206 Piedmont - Series 150 Carl Lundgren (Chicago) PSA NM 7 - Only One Higher. Carl Lundgren made his MLB debut in 1902. The very successful young hurler posted a 76-36 (.667) W-L record and a 2.23 ERA from 1903 - 1907. Surprisingly, his career would come to a close in 1909 appearing in just two games. He appears as a Cub early in the T206 production schedule, it was noted he went to Kansas City, in time for the "350 Subjects" segment. The early cards with a "Lundgren, Chicago Natl." caption are not the easiest T206's to acquire. Very bold colors and a precisely registered portrait which is nicely contained within a clean white border. The back is very mildly affected by some sheet transfer and is otherwise just as problem free as the front. Graded PSA NM 7. The reverse displays a "Piedmont - 150 Subjects" with a Factory 25 designation.
