    Description

1909-11 T206 Piedmont 150 Ty Cobb (Bat On Shoulder) PSA NM 7 - Pop Four, None Higher With This Brand. The T206 issue offers a particularly diverse array of stumbling blocks for the collector bent upon full completion--the famous rarities of Wagner, Plank and Magee/Magie, for example--but for those entries having enjoyed an unabridged print run, the Georgia Peach reigns supreme. The 1909-11 production range of this beloved set appears at the center of an unbroken nine-season span that saw Cobb claim the American League batting title, inspiring the set designers to go heavy on the Tigers great. The inaugural class Hall of Famer appears four times within the American Tobacco Company issue, and this is the second-rarest variation.

Offered is a 1909-11 T206 card featuring Ty Cobb "Bat On Shoulder" variant with a "Piedmont - 150 Subjects" ad. Overall, PSA has graded over 900 cards. Our offered card is graded PSA NM 7. There are 100 confirmed with The Sweet Caporal brand. This is one of only four graded NM with none graded higher!
