    Description

1909-11 T206 Old Mill Ty Cobb (Bat Off Shoulder) PSA NM-MT 8 - Pop Two None Higher for Brand! So much has been written about Tyrus Raymond Cobb it is hard to to know what to believe sometimes. His vicious temperament is legendary. The portrait of the Peach, painted over a century ago, supports this as the eyes say it all. But the colorful and calming stage of soft pastels contradicts the steely gaze and bolsters those who feel Cobb was a human with deep inner demons that came out in acts more passionate than vicious.

Graded PSA NM-MT 8. Overall, this is one of fourteen graded NM-MT with a handful rated higher from the current total pop of almost 1,000 submissions. This is one of two cards that rank as the "Finest Known" with an Old Mill brand that represents just 3% of the census entries. Glowing white borders encompass a crisp and clean illustration of bold hues. Corners expose only the slightest touches.
