1909-11 T206 Drum Miller Huggins SGC FR 1.5 - The Only SGC & PSA Graded Example! "Murders Row." The title to some 1930s' Hollywood gangster movie? No, "Murderers Row" refers to one of the greatest line-ups in baseball history. No guns involved but they did use bats. No back alleys - their scene was Yankee Stadium and it was truly from a Golden Age. The batting order included guys with names like George "Babe" Ruth, Lou "The Iron Horse:" Gehrig, "The Kentucky Colonel" Combs, "Silent" Bob Meusel, and Tony "Poosh 'Em Up" Lazzeri. Remarkably, these larger than life personalities were patted on the back or (when necessary) kicked in the butt by a diminutive, 5' 6", 140-pound skipper named Miller Huggins. Miller "Mighty Mite" Huggins. He was a lifetime .265 batter enjoying a 13-year career but is best known for managing one of the greatest dynasties in all of baseball. From 1921 through 1929 (the year he also passed away), Huggins managed the Yankees to six pennants and three World Championships!

From the golden-age of baseball cards, we offer a very special T206 White Borders card featuring Huggins and his distinctive orange background. The exceptional feature of this card though is the "Drum Cigarettes" advertising that graces the reverse. After more than a century and thousands of scouring eyes of passionate T206 enthusiasts it is currently the only confirmed example the holder of any third party grading service making it the rarest T206 to feature Huggins.

Graded SGC FR 1.5. This is the only SGC graded example. None are noted on the PSA census!

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
