1909-11 T206 Drum Jake Atz PSA Good 2. He'd play Texas League ball into the early 1920's, but Atz' career in the Majors would end on the last day of the 1909 Chicago White Sox season, letting us know that this supreme rarity dates to the inaugural season of the T206 issue's distribution. Clad in the team's striking blue road uniform and set against the same orange background that appears on the fabled Honus Wagner, Atz provides for a handsome obverse here.

But it's the verso that will bring the advanced collectors to the competition for ownership, as the Drum advertising back is so stupendously rare that many collectors have never seen one in person. Piedmonts are literally about a thousand times as common. This is one of only two Atz representations to boast the distinction.
